IFFCO Aonla unit is a world-renowned Urea Production plant situated about 30 km from Bareilly, UP. IFFCO Aonla unit intends to replace its existing dust extraction Blower (tag No. DEFT -1) with a new blower of the same capacity, head & material SS304. UDCI’s Symbiosis Centrifugal Blower shall be multi-supplied to suit site conditions with certain specifications as per the IFFCO Aonla unit’s applications.

Symbiosis blower will work as an induced draft fan for drawing air-laden urea dust from various points. After scrubbing this air dust mix, the blower will discharge fresh air into the atmosphere to ensure reliable ventilation. The blower will consist of high-precision components manufactured and processed with our extensive know-how and is assembled by experienced technicians.
The company official said that it recently won a contract to offer energy-efficient Symbiosis blowers to replace the client’s existing equipment. The production of fertilizers is not only complex but also energy-intensive. Energy savings of around 25 % can be achieved with high-efficiency centrifugal blowers and their auxiliary accessories.
Since the fertilizer plants face many challenges in the form of ammonia vapour emissions and urea dust, centrifugal blowers and fans installed in a Fertilizer plant should have distinguished capabilities to handle various material types. Accordingly, the Motor cooling fan supplied at the IFFCO Aonla unit will be made of aluminum or non-spark able material. Adding to that he said that UDCI has bagged this order among the stiff competition from competent national companies.
The scope of this contract involves the design, engineering, supply, erection & commissioning of Symbiosis industrial air blower. UDCI will also provide a guarantee of blower for a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning or 18 months from the date of supply. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of November 2021.
